Week 1 Hello
What a week! I do hope that you and your family are all safe and well. It has been a really strange week without you.
Many of you were not able to come in towards the end of last week so you may be struggling to access the websites on our class page. In your home learning pack, you will find login details for the different websites. Please also refer to the letter that was included for details of how to log in.
Learning at home can be both filled with fun as well as challenging. To help you, our Coppetts Wood website is filled with daily / weekly learning tasks as well as fun and well-being activities. Aim to log on every day, if possible, to complete the set Maths and English tasks. If you are struggling or need guidance, please use the ‘Get In Touch’ link to send an email and I or a member of our Home Learning Team will get back to you.
Remember to use the links on our Year 5 Class webpage to have fun while learning. New tasks will be added regularly, so do keep checking if you have completed the tasks. Scroll down on the Home Learning page to access the different websites. All the links are there in one place. Continue to enjoy reading daily, practise your spellings and maths on Spellingframe and enjoy the games on Mathsframe. Use the videos in Mathswatch to help you learn and practise maths concepts.
And now for a few ‘SHOUT OUTS’:
A HUGE congratulations to Robert who has reached HERO STATUS again.
A HUGE thank you to Imad, Zara, Maisam, Robert, Maram and Jack for battling it out with Pandora. Come on the rest of you Griffins, we CAN do it if we ALL join in the challenge. All you have to do is play and have fun while getting better and better. Remember, you can also have fun challenging each other.
Look out for next week’s battle.
Active Learn / Bug Club Grammar:
Great to see Emma, Jessica, Kai and Piotr having a go on this website. Keep it up! Remember to review the questions that you struggled with and try them again. If you have not logged on to Active Learn yet, please do so. Ask for help if you need to. Check your folder for your login details.
Looking forward to watching your progress in the coming weeks. Remember, you can contact me or the Home Learning Team via the following email address:
Keep well, keep safe, and I miss you all dearly.
