As part of their Autumn 2 'Design and Technology' curriculum, Nairobi will be learning about food innovations from the Victorian era. For their first lesson, the children made and tried gruel - a breakfast food eaten by lower-class Victorians. Most of the children did not like gruel, but there were an odd few who loved it!
